Former President Trump spoke about Iran’s attack on Israel, saying it was because the US showed ‘great weakness’.
“I want to say, God bless the people of Israel,” Trump said at the top of his policy rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
‘They are under attack right now. It is because we are showing great weakness, the ex-president said at the top of the event.
His remarks came as Iran fired drones and missiles at Israel on Saturday night in retaliation for a deadly Israeli airstrike two weeks ago.
The Israeli military said the airborne threats were intercepted with the help of allies, including the United States.
‘America prays for Israel. We send our absolute support to anyone who is hurt, Trump said.

The former president also blamed the United States before moving on to other topics.
“The weakness that we have shown is unbelievable,” Trump told his supporters. ‘It wouldn’t have happened if we were in office.’
The former president’s claim echoed similar ones he has made online and at political events in recent months as tensions escalate in the Middle East and Israel wages war in Gaza.
”Israel’s attacks both on October 7 and today would never have happened,” he continued.
