Police searched two New York City synagogues after bomb threats sparked panic on Christmas Eve.

Police searched Temple Shaare Zion in Brooklyn and Riverdale Jewish Center in the Bronx around 6:15 a.m. after a 911 call, NYPD told DailyMail.com.

The department was unable to provide any details about the threats received by synagogues, but said they were believed to have been sent by email.

“Officers responded and searched the buildings and did not find any devices,” an NYPD spokesman said. – Nothing found.

The department said officers will continue to “question and patrol” areas affected by the latest bomb threats.

Hundreds of synagogues across America have been attacked with threatening messages about fake bombs since Hamas killed about 1,200 people in Israel on October 7.
