Who qualified?

As mentioned, Premier League teams Arsenal and Manchester City will compete in the round of 16.

Real Madrid and City were the only teams to win all six group stage matches. The Spanish team Barcelona will also take part in the next round of the tournament.

Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern Munich finished top of Group A and will be hoping for a comfortable playoff run.

The draw will consist of the winners of each group being placed in a seeded pot. The second-place finishers in each group will be placed in the second unseeded pot.

They will be drawn, with the seeded teams playing the first legs of each match away from home before returning home for the second leg of the draw.

Premier League teams Arsenal and Manchester City cannot play each other because they are from the same national association.

Teams cannot face any team they played in the group stage. Thus, Arsenal will not be able to play PSV and City will not be able to meet RB Leipzig.
