Wrexham have secured promotion to League One after a thunderous 6-0 win over Forest Green.

The Red Dragons were transformed after the takeover by Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, and their success has continued.

Phil Parkinson’s men were aware that a win against bottom side Forest Green would secure a second consecutive promotion.

And victory at the RaceCourse Ground came in emphatic fashion, with Wrexham going into the break 4-0 up thanks to Elliot Lee’s strike, Paul Mullin’s brace and a Ryan Innis own goal.

The second half continued in similar fashion with Ryan Barnett and Jack Marriott. adding two more goals to get the party started.
