Yang Yan Chan has broken her silence on rumors that she had “formed a close friendship” with Harry Styles earlier this year.
The 29-year-old Hong Kong-born influencer downplayed romantic talk, telling Daily Telegraph that she didn’t know about this chatter.
“I mean, I was home for the holidays and I was with my best friends, so I just left on time. So I didn’t really see that much of it,” she said of the reporting.
Chan has since been photographed packing on the PDA with her new boyfriend at Bronte Beach.
That same month, it was revealed that British singer and social media star Ian had been secretly holidaying while Harry was visiting Australia as part of his Love On tour.

The influencer made headlines earlier this year after rumors surfaced that she had a brief fling with English singer Harry, 29, while he was touring Australia.
Rumors of a romance between the brunette and Harry began in March after they met on social networks and began messaging each other.
A well-placed source told The Washington News Australia how their relationship began, claiming it was Styles who made the first move by “slipping into Yan Yan’s DMs and inviting her to attend a private party” after his Sydney show on March 4.
The 29-year-old Hong Kong-born influencer downplayed the romantic talk, telling The Daily Telegraph she was unaware of the conversations.
Chan was actually seen sitting in the gold class corporate box with a group of other influencers at the concert.
Styles and Chan have followed each other on Instagram since 2020, but have never been photographed together.
Chan is just one of the 400 people the Watermelon Sugar singer follows.
Woman’s Day magazine claims Styles and Chan met each other in February while the singer was on tour Down Under.
Harry has previously been linked to a host of stunning women, including Taylor Swift, Camilla Rowe and Olivia Wilde.
However, he has remained silent about his personal life since splitting from Olivia, 39, in November.
In March, a video of Harry kissing model-turned-actress Emily Ratajkowski in Tokyo went viral.
