Nick Kyrgios has announced his new OnlyFans page, on which the Australian promised to reveal his “intimate side” to fans.
Kyrgios, 28, has been out all season with knee and wrist injuries and doubts have surrounded his participation in next month’s Australian Open after he was left out of the entry list.
The Canberra-born star admitted the “stars have to align” for him to play at his home Grand Slam, although tournament boss Craig Tiley said Kyrgios would be at the event “in some form or another”.
Continuing his recovery, Kyrgios said he has teamed up with subscription platform OnlyFans, where users pay a monthly fee for content from creators.
“Starting OnlyFans was easy,” Kyrgios said.
Nick Kyrgios has joined the social network OnlyFans, he announced.
Kyrgios, 28, has been sidelined all year with knee and wrist injuries.
Kyrgios promised to show fans his “intimate side” on the social network.
“They are revolutionizing social media and I wanted to be a part of it. Athletes can no longer just show up on the court or field, we have to show up online too. I want to create, produce, direct and own content. This is the future.”
Celebrities and influencers commonly use OnlyFans to post raunchy content, and Australian boxer Ebany Bridges boasts thousands of followers on the platform.
Kyrgios’ page is open to the public and he says he will show fans his “intimate side”.
“I have been communicating directly with my fans for many years and know what they want to see. Of course there will be tennis balls, tips, tricks and behind the scenes involved, but they will also get to see all sides of me. Games, tattoos, my intimate side – it’s all on the table, and I’ll take the fans with me!”
Kayleigh Blair, chief executive of OnlyFans, said: “Like OnlyFans, Nick is a disruptor, so it’s great to see him joining our platform, finding new ways to share his content and express himself. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for his fans.”
Kyrgios recently spent time in Los Angeles, where he immersed himself in the world of TV pundits and was also seen rubbing shoulders with women’s tennis superstar Naomi Osaka at a Los Angeles Lakers game.
