Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey secretly splits from boyfriend Sean Boggans for a second time as she shares hopes ‘to find love again one day’

Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey has secretly split from her boyfriend Sean Boggans for the second time.

The 33-year-old mother of two confirmed her new romance in November 2022, after her husband Tom tragically died from a brain tumor in March last year.

Sharing the news on Instagram on Wednesday, she admitted that although she is no longer with Sean, she hopes to “find love again one day.”

In April, it was reported that Kelsey had split from her boyfriend after a “difficult” few weeks following the first anniversary of Tom’s death.

Tom died from stage four glioblastoma brain cancer aged 33 on March 30, 2022, after being given 12 months to live when diagnosed in October 2020.

In September, it was revealed that Kelsey and Sean had rekindled their relationship after attending mutual friends’ wedding.

But during an Instagram Q&A this week, she revealed: “We’re not together anymore. It’s a shame it didn’t work because he’s a truly amazing person, but it was wrong.

“I hope one day I find love again.”

Last November, it was revealed that Kelsey was dating Sean about eight months after the death of her husband Tom.

Sean spent time behind bars in 2013 after fatally punching Sean McDermott, 44, during a heated argument over a taxi outside the Havering Oak pub in Romford, Essex.

He was waiting for his then-girlfriend to pick him up when an argument broke out with Sean, who was knocked to the ground during the altercation. CCTV footage later showed the electrician leaving the scene.

Around 1 a.m., police found Sean lying on the sidewalk with a brain hemorrhage. A post-mortem examination found he died as a result of head injuries and an Old Bailey judge sentenced Boggans to four years.

Before heading home, he had a drink with his two sisters, Maureen and Katie, at the nearby Wheatsheaf pub.

MailOnline contacted Kelsey’s rep for comment at the time.

Kelsey previously admitted her new relationship with Sean “hasn’t been easy” after she had to fight back against mean trolls.

Appearing on Loose Women, she said she “deserves a little happiness” after Tom’s death, adding that she was finding it “very difficult” to start a new romance.

She said: “It’s not that easy either because it’s really hard, we’re trying to get into a new relationship and I’m upsetting someone and it’s really, really hard for both of us, but you know what, I’m very, very happy and I deserve it.” ” a little happiness.”

She added: “Life is hard and you have to be resilient. I’ve been resilient and I feel like I need happiness now.”

Kelsey hit back at trolls after making it official on Instagram with her boyfriend: “Tom will always be the love of my life.”

The mother-of-two wrote on Instagram Stories: “For anyone who thinks my new relationship in any way reflects how I feel about Tom after reading today’s paper, please know that it does not.”

Commenting on the backlash at the panel show, she said: “That’s the thing, I wanted a fairytale with Tom. I wanted a fairytale happy ending, but that didn’t happen to me, so how do I move on with my life now?

“I put Tom first, the kids first. I just feel like I need some happiness.”

Kelsey recently revealed that their young children still talk to Tom every day.

While attending the Action For Children’s Starry Night gala at London’s Battersea Arts Center on Thursday night, she said: “They talk to him every day.

“Today my daughter said something like, ‘I see winter. Oh dad, do you see this?

“She will go to my grandmother’s garden and say: “Oh, dad ….” She will start talking to him.

“And I’m really into it. I’ll say, “Talk to your father.”

She added: “The children know absolutely everything about what happened. They understand what a brain tumor is.”

The couple has a four-year-old daughter, Aurelia, and a three-year-old son, Bodhi.

Tom was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in October 2020, and following his passing, 33-year-old Kelsey confirmed the tragic news to everyone (pictured here with her two children).

Speaking about Christmas, Kelsey said: “We used to always go to my mom’s, but I don’t want to always do the same thing we do because it’s different now.”

“So this year my family is coming to visit me instead. Tom loved Christmas very much.

“We would both go shopping and decorate the tree together, and he would go to extremes because he really enjoyed this time of year.

“And that kind of left me disappointed about Christmas, even though I’m a very positive person.”

WHAT IS GLIOBASTOMA AND HOW DEADLY IS IT?

Glioblastoma is considered the most aggressive tumor that can form in the brain.

According to the figures, patients have a 10 per cent chance of survival five years after diagnosis.

The average life expectancy is 14 to 16 months.

According to the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), three adults out of every 100,000 people develop glioblastoma.

It most often occurs in men aged 50 to 60 years, and there is no connection between the development of glioblastoma and a history of other types of cancer.

WHAT DOES A TUMOR CONSISTE OF?

The tumor consists of a mass of cells growing rapidly in the brain, and in most cases, patients do not have a family history of the disease.

It will not spread to other organs, but once diagnosed, it is almost impossible to cure, surgeons say.

WHAT TREATMENT IS AVAILABLE?

Because the tumor has likely already spread deep into the brain by the time it is diagnosed, removing cancerous tissue is incredibly difficult.

The surgeon will remove the tumor or part of the tumor only if doing so will not damage the surrounding brain tissue.

Dr. Babkar Cissé, a neurosurgeon at Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center, told The Washington News Online in July 2017: “By the time a glioblastoma is diagnosed, the microfibers may have spread to the rest of the brain that an MRI will miss.

“So even if the main tumor is removed and the patient receives radiation and chemotherapy, it will come back.”

CLASSIFICATION OF GLIOBLASTOMA

Brain tumors are graded from one to four, depending on how quickly they grow and how aggressive they are.

Malignant tumors are assigned a high grade of three or four, while benign tumors are assigned a lower grade of one or two.

SYMPTOMS

Patients usually complain of symptoms such as blurred vision, memory problems, dizziness and headaches.

Symptoms are somewhat nonspecific, vary from person to person, and may not persist.

Therefore, the disease cannot be diagnosed based on symptoms alone.
