Once the human mind has been inhabited and infected, the parasites are able to take control of it and sprout terrifying powers such as razor-sharp tentacles from the host’s head.
But in Su-in’s case, she still has control over her mind, making her a valuable asset to a special task force known as The Grey.
Su-in is recruited by the authorities, who use her so-called resistance to help fight the threat – so will the parasites achieve their one main goal of infecting and taking over humanity?
Well, it looks like the answer lies in a potential second season, according to eager fans.
Taking to X, many viewers expressed their excitement over the ‘fantastic’ new series and their hopes for a subsequent season.
