A young woman has sparked a heated debate after revealing the “correct” way to shower.
Alexandra Lee, known on TikTok as Lovey Lee, was stunned to discover that not everyone showers the same way.
“My mom just told me that people shower two ways and we just realized we’re both doing opposite things,” she said on TikTok. video.
“Now I need to know what is the usual shower routine?!”
The short video quickly caught the attention of the masses as many shared their views on the topic.
Alexandra Lee was stunned when she realized that people shower in different ways: either facing the shower head or away from it.

In the clip, Alexandra explains that she turns away from the shower head so the water drips into her hair and then runs down her back.
“Of course I’ll turn around and move from time to time,” she said.
But her mother first looks at the water so that it flows onto her face and body.
The realization shocked mother and daughter, as well as thousands of TikTok users.
“I think it’s common practice to shower with the shower held behind you…is anyone else surprised by this?” Alexandra continued.
“It all started when I asked her for advice because we were remodeling our shower. I was wondering where we should put the shower bench?
“She said, ‘Don’t you want the shower bench behind you so you can lift your leg while you shower?’ But Alexandra remained confused.
