As for her new diet, it’s essentially an easy transition: “My latest trick is replacing all my dairy with oat milk,” the Breaking The Mold author said.

“So instead of creamer in my coffee I use oat milk, instead of milk in my cereal I use oat milk, and instead of ice cream I find oat milk ice cream. The nice thing is that oat milk is everywhere these days and isn’t that hard to find.

“You can buy it at Whole Foods, Erewhon, Trader Joe’s. They also offer oat milk ice cream.

“Oat milk reduces calories and, in my opinion, prevents bloating, which is important in tight party dresses.”

Earlier this year, she shared another diet trick.

Blanca said staying slim has a lot to do with timing your meals.

“I never eat late at night, that’s the golden rule I adopted this summer. I stop eating around 6:00 pm so my body can digest what I ate before bed. So no more late night bowls of popcorn or cereal bars. The late night snacks are over. If I’m really hungry, I chop up the vegetables and add olive oil and sea salt. But usually I just wait until breakfast to eat.

“It also saves money. Because some nights I would go to Go Greek and buy frozen yogurt to treat myself. I don’t do this anymore. I practically gave up all desserts at night. Sometimes after dinner I would order a gourmet dessert that cost about $14. No more. Sometimes desserts in good restaurants can cost a fortune! I once ordered a chocolate dessert for $22. It wasn’t worth it – too expensive and 1000 calories.

“If I want something sweet, I drink decaf coffee with honey.”

The star told DailyMail.com that she is currently following a Mediterranean diet. “It’s high in protein, so it’s low in carbohydrates, which turn into sugar when metabolized,” she said.

The star, who will next play therapist Alma Gomez in Ash and Bone 2, also shared her new diet trick for December with DailyMail.com. Her hair was by Vladimir Simic, makeup by Mina Abramovic and clothing by Hustler.

“It just requires a lot of fresh vegetables, so I’m always running to the grocery store.”

Research has shown that the Mediterranean diet is superior to low-fat diets for weight loss.

According to a systematic review, switching from an omnivorous diet to a plant-based diet helps most people lose weight, possibly due to increasing fiber intake and reducing animal proteins in favor of plant proteins, among other reasons. published in the journal Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome and Obesity: Targets and Therapeutics in 2020.

In June, Blanca talked about training.

“I try to exercise five days a week for an hour a day,” the “Mission: Possible” star said.

“Cardio and strength training are key. I use weights to stay toned. Ten pound dumbbells are great for toning.

“Some weeks it’s hard to stick to a routine, I try to be kind to myself when I can’t stick to a routine and know that even one day or five minutes of exercise a day is 100% better than nothing.

“Sometimes I just walk around the neighborhood for 15 minutes when I don’t have time to go to the gym.

“I have a walking app too, so a walk to the car or a trip to the gas station helps, it all adds up.”

And she has some diet tricks, too.

“I prefer fried food to fried food. It’s healthier for your heart and lowers your cholesterol levels.

“High cholesterol runs in my family gene. So I try to work on what I can and what is within my control. I love French fries, so sometimes it’s hard.”

And she excludes meat and sugar.

“For two months now I have decided to lead a pescatarian lifestyle, which is a temporary change.

“That means no meat, no chicken and only seafood. I love fish, so this suits me. I often order grilled salmon with vegetables in restaurants.

“And I don’t eat sugar, so no desserts, no cakes, no ice cream, thank you!” For me it’s not worth it. Every time I eat dessert, I have to train for another hour, which is too much time.

“I only eat sugar from fruit, which is great because I love apples and strawberries.

“I think it’s important to detox your body every now and then, plus it also shocks your metabolism. “I feel less bloated, more regular and more energetic.”

And she says the advice to drink more water really works.

“Not only is it good for our organs, but I noticed it helps my skin too. Bye, pimples. The best way to know if we’re drinking enough is to take our body weight and divide it by two, which gives us the number of ounces we need per day.”

She also shared that reducing stress also helps a lot with weight loss.

“Take it one day at a time,” said the star, who grew up in Washington state.

“Stress can get in our way, but every little step we take matters. Be more simple! Be kind to yourself.
