Brown, a pro-Russian member of the Confederate Party, then puts down the fire extinguisher as the woman and spectators shout at him. He then wipes his hands and goes to his bag before attempting to leave the building.

Speaker of Parliament Szymon Gołownia condemned the incident carried out by Brown and said there would be no tolerance for anti-Semitic and xenophobic behavior in the Sejm, the Polish parliament.

“This should never have happened,” Holownia told reporters after he ordered Brown to leave the plenary session, adding that he would call for an investigation into the incident.

Parliamentary hearings were suspended.

New Prime Minister Donald Tusk called it a disgrace and said such an incident should never happen again.

Tusk was elected on Monday and gave his inaugural speech to parliament on Tuesday, vowing to demand that the Western world continue to provide aid to Ukraine.

Brown, a pro-Russian member of the Confederate Party, has falsely claimed in the past that there was a plot to turn Poland into a “Jewish state.”
