Online critics have shamed a new bride for wearing a “garish” and “tacky” outfit on her big day.
A photo from the couple’s first dance at the reception showed the bride wearing a white corset, sheer lace leggings that exposed her backside, and satin frills down her legs.
The outfit went viral on social media, with hundreds of people saying it “gave them brain pain.”
The picture showed a woman standing next to her husband, who had a drink in his hand, while the lace of her trousers and frills on the sides caught the eye.
Trolls have shamed a young bride for wearing a “garish” and “tacky” outfit on her big day.
Her white bodysuit didn’t provide much coverage either.
“Showing it all off,” joked a poster in a Facebook group shaming the wedding.
Some tried to support the bride’s choice.
“I really like her confidence!” – one exclaimed. – I would like to do this. I just don’t understand this outfit at all.”
Another added: “Great for them. Hooray for confidence and what makes you happy… But damn! Why this choice of fabric? This is a wedding, not a strip club!”
Many noted that all the other guests in the photo turned away from the newlyweds, perhaps out of respect for the bride’s modesty.
“It’s horrible. This is even worse, but ‘horrible’ is the only word because my brain hurts trying to figure out why this even happened,” one wrote.
“Holy Mother of God. I can’t imagine being one of the guests and spending the entire ceremony staring at that booty while looking at the minister. Yes, said another.
-What the hell is this? one simply asked, not understanding why none of the bride’s family or friends decided to stop her.
While Australians are known to be eccentric on their wedding day – with some brides making “outrageous” demands on others by wearing feathered dresses – others prefer a more traditional approach.
