Disgraceful moment Australia Post worker smashes parcels to the ground in wild meltdown at Manly

Shocking footage captured the moment an Australia Post worker threw parcels to the ground in a tantrum that left onlookers stunned.

The video shows a postal worker stacking boxes on a moving cart at The Corso in Manly, on Sydney’s northern beaches.

A video of the incident was posted on Instagram on Tuesday.

The worker was seen stacking six boxes scattered on the ground onto his cart.

By the time the postman had folded the fourth box, he had thrown the remaining ones onto each other with all his might.

When the packages were in place, another postal worker approached him to talk.

The frustrated worker walked up to the cart and tilted it backwards, gripping the top drawer.

Unable to hold the heavy load, the worker allowed the cart to return to its upright position.

The postman made his anger known and forcefully pushed the top two packages to the ground, stunning the onlookers.

He grabbed the next two boxes from the cart and threw them on the ground as the elderly postal worker looked on.

An Australia Post spokesperson told The Washington News Australia they have strict protocols for team members when delivering parcels.

“These actions clearly fall short of the high standards we expect,” they said.

“The delivery driver has been identified and we will carry out a full investigation.”

Opinions were divided among social media users, with some calling the postal worker’s actions “disrespectful.”

Some took the situation lightly, with one commenting: “Auditing for a loader position.”

“Make sure no one is watching next time,” another added.

Others were more sympathetic, explaining that he had probably had a “rough day.”

“This guy needs a day off,” wrote another.
