The moment a security guard punched a woman twice in the face outside a nightclub has been captured on video.
Footage showed patrons watching and jeering as a brawl broke out at Lambys Tavern, near Geelong’s Corio Bay Foreshore, about 12.30pm on Sunday.
A bouncer, 29, is seen punching an 18-year-old woman in the face, prompting one of his colleagues to step in to try and separate them.
The woman, wearing a dress and high heels, then confronted the guard again and was punched in the face once more, knocking her to the ground.
Victoria Police confirmed the woman was taken to hospital ‘for observation’.

At this time, no charges have been filed against either party.
The security guard from Corio, North Geelong, will be interviewed by police at a later date as investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
He was employed by S&D Security, the security guard subcontractor for the site, but was fired in the wake of the incident, Geelong Advertiser reported.
Another skirmish can be seen in the background of the video as another man held back two others trying to reach the woman.
While one got away, the other was punched in the face, causing him to squirm violently before the video ended.
A Lamby’s Tavern manager said staff were aware of the incident and the venue was assisting with the police investigation.
“We do not accept the actions (that) happened outside our venue,” the manager said.
‘The police will deal with this matter with our full support.’
A source close to the 18-year-old said she was ‘okay’ after the ‘traumatic experience’.
