Erica de Lima (pictured) filed a police report in October after her husband Thiago de Lima allegedly pointed a gun at her and threatened to shoot her.
Thiago de Lima told investigators that his wife tried to take his gun away minutes before he shot her.
Erica, mother of two daughters from a previous relationship, and Thiago were married for six months, Brazilian news outlet G1 reported.
The woman filed a police report on October 30 after Thiago allegedly threatened her with a gun and pointed it at her head.
However, she declined to press criminal charges and did not seek a protective order.
The incident reportedly stemmed from an argument the couple had after leaving the club, where Thiago flew into a jealous rage.
The discussion continued at the couple’s home and turned when Thiago pointed a gun and told Erica that she wouldn’t be around to see her daughters grow up.
