Micah Hamilton scores his first Man City goal on his senior debut as the 20-year-old fires Pep Guardiola’s side ahead in Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade

Micah Hamilton, 20, will always remember his Manchester City debut after scoring a stunning goal for Pep Guardiola’s side against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday.

The youngster progressed through the ranks of City’s youth academy and was finally given the opportunity to make his first-team debut in Serbia in the club’s final group stage match.

City manager Guardiola has made a host of changes, with the reigning European champions having already qualified for the next round of the Champions League and Hamilton being cleared to start on the wing.

Continuing down the right flank, Hamilton was pushed into space by Matheus Nunez and took a touch before rounding the opposition defender and firing his shot into the back of the net.

Red Star goalkeeper Omri Glazer stretched helplessly to take a powerful shot as the City players and coaching staff on the bench rose to celebrate the rising star’s first senior goal.
