Queen Camilla is spotted wearing an evil eye bracelet to ward off negative energy just like Meghan Markle – amid Omid Scobie’s claim she has no relationship with her daughter-in-law
According to Omid Scobie’s new book, the relationship between Queen Camilla and her daughter-in-law Meghan Markle is pretty cool, but they have one thing in common when it comes to jewelry.
Over the past few weeks, Camilla, 76, has worn an evil eye bracelet during multiple royal engagements – as has Meghan, 42.
During her latest appearance at the Booker Prize Foundation reception at Clarence House, King Charles’ wife adorned her signature Van Cleef & Arpels jewels with an intricate anti-evil eye design.
While it’s unclear where Camille bought her bracelet, the thin gold chain is adorned with tiny turquoise beads, mother-of-pearl stars and an evil eye motif.
The symbol, which dates back thousands of years, is believed to ward off negative energy from those around them, and the release of Omid Scobie’s book Endgame may shed light on why both members of the royal family are adorned with the motif.

The Duchess of Sussex is known for her penchant for symbolic jewelry, having previously been seen wearing numerous necklaces and bracelets adorned with the evil eye.
However, last week at the Vancouver Canucks hockey game with Prince Harry, she unveiled a new addition to her collection – the Lorraine Schwartz Against Evil Eye Diamond Pave Bracelet.
The bracelet, priced at £14,902.41, is made from 18 carat white gold and features a total of 23.66 carats of blue topaz, 1.86 carats of white diamonds and 0.06 carats of black diamonds. According to its creator, it is “believed to protect people from the envy of others.”
The idea of the evil eye is thousands of years old and is based on the belief that other people have the power to harm you. Wearing an evil eye talisman is a way to protect yourself.
Evil eye amulets, usually blue in color, are known as “Nazar”, which translates from Arabic as “sight and attention”.
Meghan Markle joins a number of celebrities, including Jennifer Aniston and Gigi Hadid, in bringing the symbol back into the spotlight by wearing jewelry inspired by the evil eye.

It comes amid claims that Queen Camilla has no relationship with the Sussexes, according to Omid Scobie’s new book Endgame.
According to the book, while the Queen has “great sympathy” for what Meghan went through, a royal source told the author that she “doesn’t respect the way they behaved.”
Conversely, while her relationships with Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, are non-existent, the book claims Camilla and her husband King Charles are now enjoying “laughter-filled” dinners with William and Kate.
