Romantic moment a man uses airplane PA system to propose to his girlfriend mid-flight

This is the romantic moment a man proposed to his girlfriend on a plane as fellow passengers cheered him on.

In a video shared to TikTokthe unidentified man can be seen speaking into a PA system on board Nigerian airline Air Peace as he asks his would-be fiancee to ‘get out’ of her seat and ‘say yes’ to him.

The fairytale moment was made even more special when he revealed his girlfriend’s name was ‘Precious’, which made her ‘so precious’ to him – and hoped she would ‘marry’ him.

The cute proposal – which was caught on camera by her friend – was met with loud cheers, with viewers saying it made them ‘cry like a baby’.

With a look of excitement, the unknown passenger began his sweet serenade: ‘She is so precious and her name is Precious.

In an updated post, the man can be seen embracing his now fiancee, Precious, to the delight of cheering passengers

“Please, my precious self, I want to ask, will you marry me?”

The man was forced to pause between words because the invested crowd couldn’t help but scream and whistle with excitement.

He continued: ‘If you want, just come out and say “yes” to me my love.’

In almost cinematic fashion, he dropped the handset and slowly walked through the aisle of the plane to find his waiting love.

‘Oooohs’ and ‘awwwws’ could be heard from seated passengers as others took out their phones to capture the unique moment.

The cheers erupted into loud applause as the man paused halfway down the aisle, apparently waiting for his fiancée to come to him.

Unfortunately, the clip ended before viewers had the chance to meet Precious, leaving people clamoring for another video.

Her friend bowed to pressure and shared an updated postwhere Precious can be seen embracing her now-fiance mid-flight just moments after he popped the question.

Precious kept her head bowed low and rested on his shoulders in an obvious attempt to hide the tears.

A passenger could be heard urging the couple to turn up the heat and seal the moment with a kiss, shouting: ‘kiss him! Kiss him now!’

The lovebirds followed suit as they appeared to lean in close for a long kiss and hug.

Shouts of ‘yayyyy’ erupted from the crowd as the newly engaged couple walked towards the front of the plane.

The popular video has since sparked mixed reactions, including one woman who labeled it ‘beautiful’.
