Sofia Vergara and son Manolo granted temporary restraining order against alleged stalker
Sofia Vergara and her son Manolo received a temporary restraining order against the man who the actress claims was harassing them.
Sofia, 51, makes her claims in legal documents obtained TMZ that a man named Gregory Brown is a “mentally unstable stalker” who is “delusionally convinced that he knows her personally and has a relationship with her and her family,” as well as her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, 32.
Vergara, who is going through a divorce, claims Brown’s “aggressive and abusive behavior” left her fearful for her safety and caused her anxiety and emotional distress.
The Modern Family actress says Brown persistently pursued her even though he was allegedly arrested for trespassing and vandalizing her home earlier this year.
Brown allegedly tried repeatedly to contact her and Manolo, and Sofia claimed he gained unauthorized entry into her gated community while walking from the hills in the summer.

Sophia claims she received a letter from Brown in the mail in November. In the letter, Brown allegedly told her he would “see and hear from her very soon, my love,” before ending the letter with “Gangsta.”
The actress claims that Brown has a criminal history consisting of arrests for violent crimes. His alleged criminal past made her more concerned about her safety.
A judge granted Sophia and her son a temporary restraining order. Brown is required to remain at least 100 yards away from Sofia and Manolo and has no contact with them.
Manolo is Sofia’s son from her first marriage to Joe Gonzalez. Years after her divorce, she married True Blood actor Joe Manganiello.
The couple announced in July that they had separated and were divorcing after seven years of marriage.
Just two days after the announcement of the separation, the actor filed for divorce, calling the date of separation July 2, and citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation.
The former couple did not have children together.

Sofia made a short trip to celebrate Thanksgiving as she was spending the holiday with her 65-year-old neighbor Anastasia Soare.
On Instagram, she shared photos of herself enjoying a vacation with Anastasia.
Anastasia is known as the “Queen of Eyebrows” and is the founder of the cosmetics brand Anastasia Beverly Hills.
For the meeting, Sofia wore a dark brown dress with long sleeves and a short skirt.
“Thanksgiving at a neighbor’s house!” thank you @anastasiasoare, I love you!” Sofia wrote in the caption.
