“The first thing in protocol is to keep (pirates) off the boat—that’s the most important thing,” she admitted.

“There are boats that have water cannons around them that put pressure on them when they want to climb on them and prevent them from climbing up.

“There are others that have a little fence or something like that.

“But if they climb up, you have to find cover and pray they don’t find anything.

“They want to steal goods. But there were also cases when things were thrown onto ships in order to kidnap the crew or guests.

“If you come to work on a yacht, the first thing you do when you get on it is look for your shelter.”

“Visiting exotic places, looking at the views—those daily sunsets.

“I organize and clean every corner of the yacht and make sure the crew cleans up after themselves.

“I (also) make sure that nothing is forgotten on the yacht, because if that happened, it (would be) my fault.”
