Techno ravers flash the flesh with some VERY skimpy outfits as they party in furnace-like conditions in Sydney – after notorious face-tattooed bikie’s throat is SLASHED at Perth gig

Thousands of concertgoers turned out to party at techno rave Epik despite sweltering heat after a large biker was stabbed at another festival.

More than 20,000 people flocked to Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday for several concerts.

Ravers were spotted wearing colorful outfits and some in skimpy dresses as they prepared to party late into the night at the electronic dance festival.

US rockers Foo Fighters will perform to a huge crowd at Accor Stadium, while rapper 50 Cent will also draw thousands to his second Sydney concert at Qudos Bank Arena, despite the stifling heat.

NSW Health previously issued an advisory urging concertgoers to try to avoid the sun and take a break from dancing if they feel unwell.

Temperatures reached 42C in Homebush, where the concerts are taking place, on Saturday afternoon.

The advisory warns people not to consume alcohol or drugs while attending events as this can be particularly bad during hot weather.

Sydney is set for a chilly change of pace this evening with strong wind gusts of up to 90km/h forecast to bring much-needed relief to late night walkers.

“If you dance outdoors and/or take MDMA, it can be very easy to overheat because the drug disrupts your body’s cooling mechanism, meaning your body will produce more heat than it can get rid of,” the fact sheet states.

NSW Health Minister Ryan Park said the government was working with event organizers in Western Sydney and was pleased with the preparations.

“We have worked with the organizers to ensure that there is free and sufficient water available for those attending these music festivals,” Mr Park said.

Paramedics are on alert as concerts get into full swing, with NSW Ambulance recording a 20 per cent increase in calls for help on Saturday.

NSW Chief Superintendent Mark Gibbs said the ambulance service was coping with an increasing number of calls throughout the day and urged concertgoers to look after themselves and each other.

“We ask the community to keep an eye on vulnerable members of the community,” he said, urging festival-goers to drink more fluids, wear light clothing and use sun protection, he said Daily Telegraph.

In the midst of the concerts, one of Australia’s most famous bikies, Dane Brajkovic, was stabbed during a fight outside the Perth music festival on Friday night.

Brajkovic was allegedly stabbed in the neck at the event as festival-goers were leaving the Ministry of Sound Classic premises at Kings Parks in the city’s central business district.

He was rushed to hospital and was discharged on Saturday morning with his fingers bandaged following the alleged incident.
