The actress, who played a young Kate Middleton in the latest series of The Crown, said she hoped the Princess of Wales would treat her portrayal “with love”.

“I think I’ll take away the friendships we’ve all made. People that I hope to keep in touch with throughout my life, and I think that’s really important.”
