A woman has sparked a heated debate over the “normal way” of showering after realizing she and her mother were facing opposite directions.

Alexandra “Lovie” Lee, 29, from Southern California, took her confusion to TikTok, where she has more than 100,000 followers thanks to her lifestyle and wedding videos.

But she recently learned that her mother was looking at the shower head and letting the water fall on her face and the front of her body.

The content creator explained that “it all started” when she and her husband were remodeling their shower and she asked her mom for advice on where she should put a shower bench.

“She said, ‘Don’t you want the shower bench behind you so you can lift your leg while you shower?’ – she recalls.
